The Role

This is a full-time, home-office-based role joining our fast-growing team working in Latin America, with core hours aligned to Eastern time.

What you'll be doing

As a key member of our software team, you will build, and enhance modern web application interfaces using TypeScript and React. You'll deliver rich user experiences in collaboration with backend developers and designers, contributing to products for world-class brands.

This isn’t “just another website” role. You’ll be building a greenfield solution where the real value is the integration layer: designing and implementing the backend and infrastructure that move data, trigger pipelines, and power the metrics our client will see on the front end. The website is just the window; what you build behind it is the engine that makes everything work.If you’re excited about joining the SweatWorks team to help build a new client project from the ground up, and you’re available to come on board from January 2026, we’d love to start the new year building great things together.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and deploy high-quality user interfaces using TypeScript and React
• Translate design prototypes and user stories into interactive applications
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility, as well as accessibility standards
• Optimize web performance and client-side architecture
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and iterate existing features
• Collaborate daily with backend engineers, designers, and product managers
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge-sharing

Your skills

What we require

• 3+ years hands-on experience building web interfaces with TypeScript and React
• Strong grasp of CSS, HTML5, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• Solid knowledge of state management and front-end architectures (Redux, Context API, etc.)
• Ability to write clean, scalable code with unit and component testing
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git version control
• Proactive communication in English; proven teamwork experience in remote settings

Will be a plus

• Experience integrating APIs and collaborating with backend teams (Python/Flask)
• Familiarity with UX best practices and accessibility standards (WCAG, ARIA)
• Exposure to server-side rendering (Next.js) or mobile web performance optimization
• Previous work in fitness, health, or wellness tech
