The Role

What you'll be doing

SweatWorks is hiring a Mobile Developer fluent in written and spoken English and with full-time availability. As a Mobile Developer, you will be part of a remote creative team that is responsible for all aspects of the ongoing software development, from the initial specification through to developing, testing, and launching.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and Improve Existing Applications: Continuously monitor, maintain, and update mobile applications to enhance functionality, fix bugs, and improve performance. This includes optimizing code, adding new features, and ensuring compatibility with the latest operating systems and devices.
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other developers to define, design, and deploy new features. 
• Ensure Application Quality and Performance: Conduct thorough testing to identify and fix bugs before release. Monitor application performance and adopt best practices in coding to ensure a smooth, fast, and efficient user experience.
• Adhere to Security Guidelines: Ensure that the application complies with all relevant security laws and standards.
• Keep Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Stay informed about new technology trends, programming languages, and development tools in the mobile app industry.
• Encourage and enforce best practices among team members to enable the development of new features while maintaining multiple functioning software products
• Work closely with Build, Integration, Test and Software engineers to develop tools for automation, and continuously improve the release process and automation environment. 

Your skills

What we require

• 3+ years of experience in Native Android application (preferably using Jetpack compose) development in Kotlin
• 3+ years of experience in iOS development with Objective-C, and Swift
• 1+ years of experience in React Native application development
• 3+ years of experience in source control management using Git
• Has previously published iOS apps in the app store
• Great collaboration and teamwork skills 
• Fluency in written and verbal English language
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, agile environment supporting multiple projects using a wide variety of technologies.

Will be a plus

• Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment.
• Expertise with Bluetooth Low Energy/ANT+.
• Expertise with smartwatch development.
