The 2024 Connected Health & Fitness (CHF) conference was a remarkable gathering of industry leaders, innovators, and visionaries. This year’s event was filled with energy, insightful discussions, and groundbreaking ideas that are shaping the future of health and fitness.

This year's conference highlighted several critical themes driving the industry forward:

AI Takes Center Stage: Artificial intelligence was a dominant topic, with discussions focusing on its potential to drive positive health outcomes across various sectors.

Women’s Health: Leaders like Hélène Guillaume Pabis, Tatiana Kuzmowycz, Debra Strougo, Dorothy Kilroy, Krystal Zell, Julie Cartwright, and Kathleen Ferguson emphasized the unique power of women’s hormones and physiology, and how wearables are harnessing this superpower.

Consolidation and Partnerships: Industry consolidation was a key focus, with notable announcements such as Hydrow, Inc.’s entry into the connected strength market, FORME’s merger with CLMBR, and CITYROW’s acquisition by WATERROWER. As the industry drives toward efficiency and profitability, more organizations are expected to come together in 2024.

Healthcare Integration: Healthcare integration was a close second to AI in terms of focus. Discussions ranged from getting products and services onto FSA/HSA schedules to exploring how the fitness and healthcare industries can collaborate more closely.

Beyond the conference sessions, the week was filled with opportunities to connect with both familiar faces and new acquaintances:

Our team participated in two runs despite the weather, showing determination and resilience.

Evening events, including the CHF advisor cocktails at the Roosevelt and the Atomic. VC dinner at Mastro’s penthouse in Beverly Hills, offered excellent networking opportunities.

There was a quick stop in Vegas to kick off an exciting project with an NFL star, alongside Debra Strougo and Brian Anderson.

And we had the privilege of hosting the CEO Forum with Jeff Yasuda.

The past few days were packed with insights, connections, and inspiration. While there were many we didn’t get a chance to connect with, we look forward to catching up with everyone we missed.
