Get Ready for the new CMC!

SweatWorks is pleased to announce that the Civilian Military Combine will be using SweatWorks’ Conquest Events suite of products and services for their relaunched event series.  SweatWorks’ personnel will be on-site ensuring that The PIT and scoring run smoothly and efficiently.  To better understand how the scoring at CMC will work, we put together a few event day details for you.

  1. Download the Conquest Events App (iOS and Android) - The Conquest Events app will be your best access to scoring and ranking data on the day of the event.  Simply download the app and select CMC Fort Hamilton from the event list.  To refresh the scores, pull down on the leaderboard.  Keep in mind that rankings will change as scores are being updated.  In order to find your score, you need to select the category and division that you are competing in (for example, CMC Pro Charlie / Male).  When you have finished your race, if you notice discrepancies, please visit the timing and scoring team.  You can also access our live chat support (http://conquest.sweatworks.net/).

  2. Check-In at registration upon arrival to pick up your bib packet and ensure that all of your information is accurate.

  3. Communicate with your PIT judge - start by introducing yourself and ensure that the judge has your name, bib number, and division correctly identified on the scorecard.  If you are competing in the PRO division, be sure that they include that as well.  If you are competing in the open division, make sure you tell the judge which division you are competing in (Alpha, Bravo or Charlie) and study the appropriate movements prior to the event (for more information on the PIT movements go here - http://cmcrace.com/what-is-the-pit/)

  4. Upon completion of the pit, ensure that the judge has the appropriate number of reps and sign the scorecard.  Head over to the start of the course.

  5. Upon completion of the course, your results will be available in approximately 15 minutes.  Remember that your ranking may change as people complete the event.  If you are in the PRO division, remember that there is a mandatory obstacle completion policy.  If you fail to complete an obstacle, you will move the PRO non-completed category.

  6. You information is vital for accurate scoring so make sure that your name, bib number, division, and date of birth is accurate.

See below to understand how scores will be calculated:

The-PIT

The PIT™

Points will be calculated based on the % of the highest score (in your category/division.) So your score, which will be your total reps, will be divided by the highest score, and then this will be multiplied by the max number of points, which is 1000.

Points= max points* (current score/highest score)

For example:

Athlete A finishes with 96 reps, which puts him in the first place and he gets 1000 points.

Athlete B finishes with 90 reps, so he gets 937.5 points and this puts him second place.

Athlete C finishes with 87 reps, so he gets 906.25 points and this puts him in third place.

Points will be calculated based on the % of the best finish time (in your category/division.) So the best time will be divided by your finish time, and then this will be multiplied by the max number of points, which is 1000.

Points = max points* (best time/current time)

 For example:

Athlete A finishes in one hour (1:00:00), which puts him in the first place and he gets 1000 points.

Athlete B finishes in one hour and 3 minutes (1:03:00), so he gets 952 points and this puts him second place.

Athlete C finishes in one hour and 12 minutes (1:12:00), so he gets 833 points and this puts him in third place.
